The 3rd Door offers a luxurious, intimate, fitness facility.  Whether your fitness goal is to lose body fat, increase your stamina on the tennis court or to achieve muscle definition, we will get you there in the most direct, honest, efficient way possible.  We don't offer fads or gimmicks. We use proven exercise principles and science to guide you to a healthy and lean body. Whether you hire one of our experienced personal training, participate in one of our rowing classes, or join our Soul Blast workouts, your fitness potential will be maximized.  We do not believe in wasting your time in the gym when you could be in the cafe, joining us for a smoothie or glass of wine.

Stop by during our regular business hours and we'll give you a personal tour and pricing details.

"We often associate human performance with the fulfillment of some athletic feat, like winning an Olympic gold medal. But in the true sense, human performance pertains to all aspects of life, including personal, family, social and work functions. The benefits of improved human performance include increased energy, productivity, creativity and better relationships with people."

What people are saying

About fitness training at The 3rd Door:

"If your goal is to lose weight and get lean without spending hours at the gym, you have to check it out."

"I have trained for years with Daniel; he is great."

"If you are going for the gym, it's not your usual gym. There are no treadmills or such machines (except for rowing machines, and I go to those classes, very nice). This place makes an emphasis on personal attention, either one on one or in small classes of a few people max. If you're looking for something like that, definitely check it out. If you are just looking for a regular gym with an array of machines, treadmills, multiple bench sets, etc.. this is not the place for you. It's just different, check it out."

"I don't have time (or, rather, I don't prioritize my time) for an hour long work out filled with ellipticals, treadmills, whatever -- The 3rd Door's Soul Blast workout is a perfectly timed (and slightly adjustable for those with busier schedules than I) workout that gets me off my butt after a long day in front of a computer (and without any bulky "workout" machines).

Daniel (one of the trainers) makes exercising fun, quick, and simple (even for people like me who would rather be having dinner and drinks with friends than exercising!).  The locker room showers are BEAUTIFUL."

"I've been a member at a few gyms before, but always get bored out of my mind. Can't stand the machines, or the thought of working out on my own, I rather watch grass grow. After checking out this place, I still come here for the small classes once or twice a week. It's a much different dynamic that keeps me coming back, more personal and more fun makes the time zoom by. Anything that gets me to go to the gym is good in my book."

"You can pay $300/hr to a therapist to discuss why you are unhappy because you aren't as rich and fit as you want to be, or you can pay a fraction of that to The 3rd Door and feel great regardless of stature. Put the savings towards the rich part and make some serious progress on the fit part, not just talk about it."

"I work out here because it makes me feel happy, but it isn't too bad, too, that today, about seven weeks into regular workouts at The 3rd Door, I noticed that my favorite dress just zipped up easier."

"The program is packed with simple and yet effective exercises that allow me to just focus on working hard and not worry about all that complicated moves. I used to have to always motivate myself to go work out, but with Soul Blast I actually look forward to it every time."
